Granola Bars


Our families love these..they are hard to stay out of! -Kristin

1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 T. honey
1/2 t. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 1 /4 c. oatmeal
1 1 /4 c. crisp rice cereal
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. chocolate chips or 1/2 c. chocolate chips and 1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

  • Cream sugars with butter till fluffy.
  • Add the honey, vanilla and egg.
  • Blend in flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
  • Stir in rest of ingredients.
  • Press into greased 9x13 pan and bake 350 for 20-25 minutes.
