Hot Fruit

This was one of the dishes for a winter wedding reception that I catered. The snow was really coming down when everyone arrived to eat, and this warm fruit dish was quickly gone. I've made it many times for my family since and we all love it. -Sarah

1 small jar chunky applesauce
1 can sliced peaches
1 can pineapple chunks
1 can apricots
1 can sliced pears
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 can cherry pie filling

1/2 cup brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon

  • Drain all fruits well.
  • Beginning with apple sauce layer in order listed in a 9x13 pan. Ending with cherry pie filling.
  • Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top.
  • Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Stir and serve.
*This is very forgiving, if you want to leave a fruit out or substitute a fruit it will turn out awesome!
