Creamy Italian Chicken

This is another recipe from Taste of Home. It's easy, but tastes like it was a lot of work. Kristin and I have both served it to company. -Sarah

1 pound chicken breasts, sliced or use chicken tenders
1 envelope Italian Dressing
1/4 cup water
8 oz. cream cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small can mushrooms

  • Place chicken in a crock pot. Combine dressing mix and water, pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 3 hours.
  • Combine cream cheese, can of soup, and mushrooms. Pour over chicken.
  • Cook 1 more hour in crock pot.
  • Serve over noodles or rice.
