Pizza Fondue

This is another childhood favorite of mine. Now it's a favorite of my kids. It's become a tradition to serve this the night we put up our Christmas tree. -Sarah

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2, 10 oz. cans of pizza sauce
1 T. cornstarch
1/2 t. oregano
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
10 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
pinch of salt if needed
French bread loaves, cut into dipping sized cubes

  • Brown meat and onions, add remaining ingredients and stir well, until cheeses melt.
  • Transfer to a fondue pot and serve with French bread cubes.

*If you don't have a fondue pot, just keep it in the pan you heated it in, and if it gets cold, reheat it quickly.

Another favorite of mine. This was my birthday meal request for years. I have served it to friends as well and is always a croud pleaser.
