This is my Mom's recipe, I'm not sure that I've ever tasted a different one, but I think this is really good. -Sarah

1 pound ground beef
2, 14 oz. cans diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup ketchup
1 t. salt
1 1/2 cup macaronie noodles (or other small pasta)
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 T. sugar (or to taste)
chopped green pepper

  • Brown beef and green pepper, drain. Add remaining ingredients, simmer until pasta is tender.
