Mom's Sweet and Sour Meatball's



Again, a recipe from my Mom, but so, so yummy! -Sarah

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
minced onion
1/2 t. salt
dash pepper

2 small onions, sliced into rings

Sauce:
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup ketchup

  • Combine ingredients for meatballs, shape into balls and fry or bake till cooked through.
  • In a deep skillet place meatballs and onion rings. Pour combined sauce ingredients over.
  • Cover and simmer until onions are tender.
  • Serve over egg noodles.
