5 Minute Chocolate Frosting


This is another of my Mom's recipes. This stuff is so awesome! Make it once and you will never buy canned frosting again! -Sarah

6 T. butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 2/3 cup powdered sugar
4-5 T. milk
1 T. vanilla
  • Cream butter till softened.
  • Add cocoa powder and blend.
  • Gradually add pow. sugar, alternating with milk and vanilla.
  • Beat to spreading consistency.

*This will frost a double layer round cake or a 9x13 with some left over for graham cracker sandwiches!
