Blonde Brownies

These are my younger brothers favorite. He requests them for his birthday every year from my Mom. They are so good! We love to have them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on top. -Kristin

1 1/2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
4 Heath candy bars, chopped

• Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
• Cream together the butter and sugars.
• Then add the eggs and vanilla and beat till fluffy.
• Blend in dry ingredients.
• Stir in candy.
• Spread in greased 9x13 pan.
• Bake at 350 for 28-35 minutes...until it starts to pull away from the sides.
