Mom's Homemade Crackers

When I was a teenager my friends would come over and eat all our homemade croutons. I grew up thinking that all Mom's made all things from scratch. Mom has always enjoyed making something herself instead of buying things pre-made. Many years later she's still at it, and this cracker recipe is a perfect example. -Sarah

1 cup flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 t. baking powder
2 T. sesame seeds
1/3 cup flax seeds
3/4-1 t. salt
1/4 t. onion powder
4 t. sugar
3 T. oil
2/3 cup warm water
-Mix dry, add oil and water.
-Divide dough in half.
-Pat/roll onto cookie sheet and pierce with fork, cut into desired size pieces, sprinkle with salt.
-Bake at 400 degrees 10-12 minutes.
-When oven has cooled a little, return crackers to oven to harden.
