Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry




This main dish has so much flavor! Kristin and I have both used this recipe many times over the years, we've been making it for a LONG time, and everyone LOVES it! -Sarah

2 T. soy sauce
1 T. rice wine vinegar
1 T. sugar
1/2 t. sesame oil
2 1/2 t. cornstarch
1 clove garlic, minced
1 t. minced fresh ginger
3/4 pound flank steak
1 medium head broccoli
2 T. oil
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 T. oyster sauce

1. Make the marinade. Place 1st 4 ingredients in a med bowl. Blend the cornstarch in, stir in the garlic and ginger.
2. Trim fat from meat, cut in thin slices. Marinade meat at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3. Cut broccoli into small pieces.
4. Heat wok, or large pan, add oil. Add the meat and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, till well browned. transfer to a plate with slotted spoon.
5. Add broccoli and chicken broth to wok. Cover and cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and meat and oyster sauce. Heat through and serve over rice.

*This recipe serves 4, I always double it for our family.
