Granola Bars

This is a recipe Kristin gave me years ago, it makes such a yummy, chewy treat! This recipe is very forgiving, just use whatever you have in the cupboards. You can't taste the coconut in these bars, but it helps with the chewy texture. -Sarah

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup melted butter
2/3 cup peanut butter
2 t. vanilla
3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup M&M's or raisins

  • Combine all. Press into greased 9x13 pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees about 15-20 minutes, until edges just begin to brown.
