I love making waffles and my kids love eating them! This is a classic recipe that has such a great flavor! I usually serve them with a fruit sauce and maple syrup. I double this recipe because I love having leftovers, just pop them in the toaster the next day. -Sarah

4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 eggs, separated

- Separate eggs and beat whites until stiff peaks form.
- Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Add milk, vanilla, oil and egg yolks.
- Stir till almost combined and then fold in egg whites.
- Cook in heated waffle iron.
