These are another classic from my childhood. These bars are a quick alternative to baking cookies. -Sarah
1/2 cup crunchy or plain peanut butter
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

- Beat peanut butter, sugars, and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla. Beating until well mixed.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
- Spread dough in a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and swirl dough with a knife.
- Bake 15-20 minutes longer.
