This is the most delicious hot fudge sauce! It's originally from a dessert recipe, but we started making it for our hot fudge sauce needs. It is awesome no matter how you eat it! It keeps very well in the freezer. -Sarah
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
3 cups powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
- In a small saucepan melt chocolate chips and butter, add powdered sugar and evaporated milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. This will take at least 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
