I love this bread. It has awesome crusty edges that are great to dip in soup! This recipe is for a 2 # loaf. -Kristin
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 t. salt
1/3 c. honey
2 1/4 c. bread flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
2 T. shortening
2 T. dry milk
1 t. bread machine or quick active dry yeast
- Place all in bread maker pan in order recommended by the manufacturer.
- Select Whole Wheat or Basic/White cycle. Use light or medium crust color.
