Honey Peanut Butter Cookies


I love the flavor and texture of this cookie! It has ingredients that are a little healthier and the whole wheat flour doesn't take anything away from this cookie. -Sarah

1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup peanut butter (natural peanut butter tastes best in this recipe)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 cup flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda

  • Cream butter, shortening, and peanut butter. Add brown sugar and honey.
  • Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
  • Drop onto cookie sheets and press down with fork, creating crisscross pattern.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes, careful not to over bake these!
